Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Acute Services
An opportunity has become available for an Associate Nurse Unit Managers in our Acute Services Team. This is a part-time position of 36 hours per week.

East Grampians Health Service is based in Ararat and Willaura (Regional Victoria) and takes its name from the magnificent mountain range that provides a backdrop to both townships. East Grampians Health Service has a 29-bed inpatient unit offering a wide range of clinical services located at the main Ararat campus. The inpatient unit accommodates medical, surgical, paediatric, perioperative, midwifery and palliative care patients. Developing health service partnerships, EGHS aims to service the health care needs of patients within the community as well as neighbouring towns. EGHS offers a 24-hour urgent care centre which is supported by our local GP clinic. Other acute services provided include an on-site pathology laboratory and medical imaging services.

About the Role
We are looking for a supportive leader that can foster a positive work place culture while supporting the NUM and is invested in actively contributing to the development of the acute services nursing team.A broad knowledge of nursing and a background of practice in the acute care setting is essential.
About You
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, committed to providing a high standard of patient care and will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing quality leadership and direction to nursing staff.
The ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team is also required.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks)
