The Dietetics Service at East Grampians Health Service offers consultation on all aspects of food and nutrition to the local community. No referral is required to make an appointment.
The dietitians at East Grampians Health Service are university-trained experts in issues related to diet. In particular, they look at how food can influence health and wellbeing.
They can assist in managing a range of health concerns, such as:
Patients may be self-referred or referred by a GP.
What to bring
Patients with diabetes should bring their blood glucose diary. If the appointment is for a child, please bring their growth charts.

Located at the Community Health Centre in Girdlestone Street, Ararat. Clinic hours are 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Home visits may be available if eligibility criteria are met.
