East Grampians Health Service will be announced as the location of a new Women’s Health Clinic. An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Officer within the EGHS Community Services team to develop the Women’s Health Clinic.
This is a part time position 24 hours per week. Limited Tenure, March to September 2026.

East Grampians Health Service aims to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of services based at the community health centre in Ararat. We also offer outreach services to Willaura, Lake Bolac and Elmhurst. Our services include dental, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology, dietetics, diabetes education and social work. These services support other clinical areas including our acute and residential aged care patients. Our community health centre also hosts speciality clinics such as consulting suites for our visiting surgeons and maternal child and health.

About The Role
EGHS is committed to supporting women to achieve the best possible health outcomes ensuring access to care when and where they need it. Women’s health clinics provide specialist screening, diagnosis and management of conditions unique to women and gender diverse people (excluding pregnancy care). A women’s health clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic which considers the diversity of women’s health over the life cycle from contraception through to menopause.
Building on the established women’s sexual and reproductive health hub, this position will project lead the development of an interdisciplinary women’s health clinic based at the EGHS Community Health Centre. Hours are negotiable with the project deliverables expected between five and seven months, depending on the hours worked.
About You
- An experienced clinician with knowledge/experience in Women’s Health programs
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in project development and meeting project deliverables
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
