Mandatory Education

Mandatory Education is designed to target high risk areas and meet legislative, OH&S and accreditation requirements to ensure safe practice.  A variety of methods are used to deliver Mandatory Education, e.g. specific training days, face to face competencies and online learning.

Mandatory Education is required to be completed by all permanent and casual employees.  It is an expectation that every employee is responsible for  seeking out and completing their own mandatory education requirements.

Online learning via the Grampians Learning Hub includes different education modules that may be required from one year up to every five years.

Reports detailing employees’ completion or non-completion of Mandatory Education are available to Managers via Power-Budget.

East Grampians Health Service acknowledges the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia, Jupagalk and Eastern Maar peoples as the Traditional Custodians of these lands. We acknowledge that their holistic approach to health; harmony between body, mind, spirit and environment, has been practiced on these lands for thousands of years. We thank past and present Elders for this knowledge to help improve health and wellbeing for all Australians.
