Angela Laidlaw Clinical Scholarship

East Grampians Health Service awards a clinical scholarship each year. The scholarship was donated by the Laidlaw family in memory of Angela who worked at East Grampians Health Service. The scholarship recognises Angela’s contribution to the area of clinical services.

Rie Jay Calape is the recipient of the 2024 Angela Laidlaw Clinical Scholarship.

Rie will undertake a Post Grad Cert in Clinical Nursing (Renal).

Clinical staff across East Grampians Health Service are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.

The scholarship is designed to assist members of clinical staff with education and/or travel expenses:

attending educational programs including conferences OR
attachment and/or working at Centres of excellence for a limited time to gain further knowledge and upskilling

Applications are sought in October each year.
