EGHS is seeking applications for suitably qualified Office Coordinator to join the Acute Services team in a temporary part time position.
This is a part time position 32.00 hours per week. Limited Tenure 22/09/2025 to 7/02/2027

About The Role
The Office Coordinator will perform duties of a clerical nature to assist in the efficient functioning of Acute Services including liaising with patients, visitors and medical staff. Duties involved in this position are general administrative tasks including but not exclusive to:
- Collation of any documentation to reflect change in roster including medical certificates and study information and forwarding to Payroll Dept in a timely manner
- Ensure documentation meets legal, professional and organisational standards
- Maintain strict confidentiality with reference to all matters
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collect and collate accurate data and statistics as required
- Maintain and increase expertise, skills, knowledge and competencies required to fulfil requirements of the position
- Provide assistance and support to ward clerks in the inpatient unit as required
- Update and enter information into RosterOn on a daily basis to meet Day Lock requirements

About You
- Knowledge and understanding of Acute Services including Inpatient Unit, Oncology, Midwifery and Urgent Care Centre
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to set priorities, work under pressure and complete tasks within specified time frames
- Profound knowledge of RosterOn
- Problem Solving Skills
- Able to liaise across all areas of EGHS and relate Positively to a wide range of people
- Proficient in the use of a range of computer software programs including Microsoft Office and Adobe at the level required to fulfil this position
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
