Finance & Administration Assistant – Community Nursing
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Finance and Administration Assistant to join our small but vibrant Community Nursing administrative team. The role includes data administration, referral intake, end of month reporting, and managing invoices. This is a part time position, 16 hours per week.

Community Nursing is a part of the broader Community Services Department and is located at the Ararat campus. We provide community nursing across the catchment area of Ararat Rural City and into neighbouring local government areas. Community Nursing includes Palliative Care, District Nursing, Hospital in the Home, Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) and specialist nursing programs. Each program area aims to provide awareness and education which enables community members to have a better understanding of their own health issues and thus take greater responsibility for improving their own health outcomes.

About The Role
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- General customer service
- Telephone management
- Referral Management
- Data Entry
- Client record administration
- General administration assistance to all staff
- Basic roster duties
- Monitoring contracts
- Preparation of meeting agendas and minutes
- End of month reporting
- Following up overdue invoices
About You
The successful applicant will be an experienced administrator and have excellent customer service and communication skills. A high level of computer literacy is required to efficiently use several software systems. Experience in a similar administrative position within a health setting is preferable.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
