We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled person to fill the position of Executive Assistant to the Director of Medical Services and Director of Clinical Services. This is a part time maternity leave position, 24 hours per week, September 2026 to September 2027.

This department provides leadership and support to all areas of medical services including Visiting Medical Officers, Hospital Medical Officers, Medical Interns and any related medical services.

About The Role

The role of the Executive Assistant is to provide advanced administrative assistance to the Director, designated committees and workgroups within the Medical and Clinical Services Department. 

This challenging role requires advanced computer, exceptional organisation and time management, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

About You

The successful applicant will be clearly able to demonstrate a team oriented approach based on the values of East Grampians Health Service, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to

  • High level of executive support to senior management
  • Coordination of meetings, including video & telephone conferences
  • Agenda preparation and minute taking
  • Management of Visiting Medical Officer credentialing
  • General administration to assist the Director as required

The successful candidate must be able to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Recent knowledge, experience, and skills in executive administration desirable.

Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
