Elmhurst Bush Nursing Centre is seeking an experienced, motivated, and community-focused Centre Manager to lead the team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre. About The Role

  • Promote a positive, safe, and person-centred culture across the organisation.
  • Provide effective leadership and management of staff, volunteers, and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative, clinical governance, and quality standards.
  • Manage budgets, funding agreements, and reporting requirements.
  • Foster partnerships with community groups, local health services, and government agencies.
  • Lead strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You are a dynamic and empathetic nursing leader with strong operational and people management skills. You have a passion for rural health and a commitment to supporting community wellbeing.

Essential Criteria

  • A registered nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience in management or leadership within a health or community service setting.
  • Strong financial and operational management skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, and quality systems in health care.
  • Current driver’s licence and Working with Children Check.

Desirable

  • Experience working in rural or remote communities.
  • Knowledge of Bush Nursing Centres or community health models.
