Welcome Boorai Maternity Program
Welcome Boorai provides culturally safe maternity care for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women and women carrying Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander babies.
Our program supports you throughout your pregnancy, birth and early parenting journey by offering continuity of care with a midwife team you know and trust.
Appointments
Clinic appointments are held on Tuesday mornings.
Midwife appointments are one hour and doctor appointments are 30 minutes.
After birth
After your baby is born, your midwife will visit you in hospital and then at home for up to six weeks after discharge.
Follow‑up appointments are also offered for up to two years after birth.
