A family day at the Willaura market on Sunday 6th March could be a feature of your 2016. This market can’t be missed, it’s a great day out, with delicious food, lively entertainment, such as a circus performance and great market stalls.
Mrs Jane Millear of the Willaura Health Care Auxiliary and Willaura Market Coordinator said that “Your children will be entertained on the jumping castle and organised children games before they enjoy the food stalls. These foods will include Kebabs, Indian, crepes and a treat will be fresh fruit ice cream. Another great highlight is the return of gourmet pizzas from the ‘The Forge Pizzeria’. Their mobile unit will supply wood fired oven pizzas on the day.”
Market stalls will include jams, preserves, relish, homewares, metal art, cards, jewellery, art and craft, olive oil, chocolates, fudge, cakes, nuts, massage, plants, lavender, wool products, soy candles, specialist honey and much, much more.
To complete a family day the Market we will have a colourful circus performance by Ararat 800 Primary School ‘Bamboozle’. The children from the school have entertained over the past 5 years at the Market and will again impress you with their circus and gymnastic skills.
Mrs Millear, said that “last year’s Market crowd exceeded all expectations and that we are looking forward to an even larger crowd this year.” The funds raised from the Market will be donated to the Willaura Health Care Service.”
