Vintage Roadshow Winters Lunch

On the 3rd of May the EGHS Ladies Auxiliary hosted a very successful Winters Lunch at the Willaura Town Hall.

EGHS President Margie Kilpatrick said “the day was a Vintage Roadshow Theme, where people brought their treasured Items to be valued and enjoyed an amazing display of interesting memorabilia and antique items.”

Mrs Kilpatrick said “we were very fortunate to have Ruth and Rhys Colliton from Bainbridge Antiques in Hamilton who inspired us all with their depth of knowledge and interesting stories of their life involved with antiques.”

The Auxiliary provided a delicious lunch and everyone enjoyed joining in with the competitions, having their items valued and listening to Ruth and Rhys speak”, she said

Mrs Kilpatrick said “the Auxiliary we’re delighted with the day, making approximately $3500 for the fundraising efforts to support Women’s Health at the East Grampians Health Service.”

Mrs Kilpatrick thanked all the wonderful sponsors who supported them for the day and that they were so grateful to Ruth and Rhys who gave everyone who attended a great insight into the world of Antiques.
