Support for Men’s Business Group at Patricia Hinchey Centre

The Men’s Business Group at Patricia Hinchey Centre is a new service provided to enhance men’s health and wellbeing, opportunities for men to connect and get together to have a chat and share experiences.

The Men’s Business Group meets every Wednesday, supported by male staff/volunteers who collect participants from their doors and take them home at the end of the day.

A monthly calendar of events ensures that the men are kept up to date with the outings planned and the places to enjoy lunch.

The Men’s Business Group visits the local Ararat Men’s Shed once a month which provides a sense of belonging and engagement within the local community, followed by afternoon tea.

The Men’s Business Group would like to thank the Ararat Y’s Men’s and Y’s Menettes Clubs for their donation of $250 dollars to support the group and assist them with the costs of the bus trips.

Members of the Y’s Men’s Club said they were very happy to support such a wonderful idea and look forward to working together to ensure this great program continues.
