Roll up, roll up for the Willaura Market

WILLAURA – The Willaura Market is expecting to attract a large crowd at this year’s annual event, to be held on Sunday, March 2 at the Willaura Health Service grounds.

Next year’s market will have a wide selection of market stalls, entertainment and scrumptious food stalls.

Willaura Market coordinator, Jane Millear said the Willaura market is much more than just a market with the day to include various musical entertainment and a performance from local children’s circus Bamboozle.

“They always keep the audience enthralled with their aerobatic performance. The market is great day out for families and has something on offer for everyone to enjoy,” she said.

“The market is growing every year and this year we have an even wider variety of market stalls and new food vendors. The market committee had to expand the market area to make allowance for more eating and sitting areas to cater for larger numbers of people.”

“This year’s market will offer an array of delicious food including freshly made ice-creams, great coffee and cakes.

“Some of the stalls will include honey products, olive oils, wool products, artworks, steel sculpture work, paintings, hand crafted candles, jewellery, clothing, craft stalls, fresh produce and plants, raffle prizes and much more.”

East Grampians community liaison officer Danny Drake said the market runs from 10am until 2pm on Sunday, March 2.

“Come along and enjoy a great day out in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the grounds of the Willaura Health Service,” he said.
