Patrons enjoy armchair travel to Antarctica

The EGHS Auxiliary’s annual Country Luncheon at Willaura was a great success.

Around 87 people attended the event at the Willaura Memorial Hall and enjoyed a delicious country lunch prepared by Auxiliary members and Jody Sutherland and her team from Pyrenees Café.

The luncheon raised more than $3208, and will go towards the purchase of new chairs for the EGHS Dialysis Department.

Guest speakers were Pam and Peter Brennan, who talked about their trip to Antarctica, showing many incredible photos.

“They were really great and took us on their journey to Antarctica by way of a photo slide show,” EGHS Auxiliary president Viv Burridge said.

“The audience was very interested and asked quite a few questions.”
