The East Grampians Health Service Auxiliary has funded two Urgent Care beds for East Grampians Health Service. These beds are state of the art in emergency care and will assist patient’s needs and staff efficiency.
The funds for the two Urgent Care Beds came from movie night and the Annual Women, Wellbeing and Wisdom Dinner last year.
East Grampians Health Service Auxiliary President, Mrs. Margie Kilpatrick believes that fundraising for the Health Service is a vital community service. “I am so pleased, our Auxiliary has worked tirelessly to fundraise for East Grampians Health Service, and the Urgent Care beds are a wonderful result.”
East Grampians Health Service Inpatient Unit Manager, Mrs. Lorine Paterson is delighted to have the new beds in the Urgent Care Department. “These beds have hydraulic mechanisms so that the physical stress on staff is greatly reduced.”
Mrs. Paterson commented that “the Health Service is grateful to Auxiliary for donating the two new Urgent Care beds which we will use on a daily basis. We are so lucky to have such a committed and hardworking group of women in our community.”
