New puzzle to solve

Are you looking for a fun way to get some exercise during Stage 3 restrictions?

Active Adventure Around Ararat is designed to get your mind and body active and is a walking trail featuring checkpoints at which you are provided a clue. If you complete the trail you solve the puzzle.

The AAAA walking trail puzzle has been updated with a new theme – ‘Resilience’.

Follow the clues at each checkpoint around Ararat and unscramble the letters to make a word that is important in building resilience.

The Heart Foundation conducted a competition to encourage communities to come up with innovative ways to get their community to be active, and East Grampians Health Service was successful in its application for the Active Adventure Around Ararat project and received a $10,000 grant to complete the project.

The trail takes in Alexandra Gardens, Kokoda Park, the Library, Centenary Park and Emu Park.

Don’t forget to wear your mask while you are out and about!

East Grampians Health Service acknowledges the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia, Jupagalk and Eastern Maar peoples as the Traditional Custodians of these lands. We acknowledge that their holistic approach to health; harmony between body, mind, spirit and environment, has been practiced on these lands for thousands of years. We thank past and present Elders for this knowledge to help improve health and wellbeing for all Australians.
