New Garden Beds at Patricia Hinchey Day Centre

Patricia Hinchey Day Centre has recently received an exciting addition of some raised garden beds.

The installation of the additional beds was made possible through a generous donation of materials by Ararat Mitre 10.

“The garden beds are a great asset and tending them provides a meaningful and stimulating activity for our clients.  Everyone enjoys watching the changes in the plantings as the seasons progress and the harvest is shared amongst the clients,” said Jacinta Harman, Manager at PHDC.

The beds will be well utilised by clients, and furthermore the herbs grown will supply the cooking needs of the EGHS kitchen at Café Pyrenees. A huge thank you to Ararat Mitre 10 for making all of this possible.
