East Grampians Health Service’s Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay teams will wrap up their fundraising with an EGHS Surplus Auction.
The auction will take place in the gardens behind Pyrenees House on Saturday April 8, with registrations from 8am. Guest auctioneer will be Phil Clark from First National Real Estate Ararat.
Bidding is sure to be fierce for the health service’s surplus equipment, which will include items such as beds, office furniture, chairs, shelving, mobility aids, patient lifting machines, doors, filing cabinets and much more.
People who would like to assist the fundraising are welcome to donate goods to be auctioned on the day. Please contact Stuart Kerr on 5352 9355 to arrange delivery.
“The Murray to Moyne teams, the Cranks and Defibrillators, are raising funds for a new bus for the Patricia Hinchey Centre,” EGHS community liaison officer Jodie Holwell said.
“The bus is used to transport frail aged and disabled clients for activities and outings throughout the region.
“The auction will be the final fundraiser for the Murray to Moyne teams so we hope as many people as possible turn out to support the teams’ efforts.”
