Hooray for Hollywood!!

The Patricia Hinchey Centre held its annual ball on Wednesday 29^th June and the theme was Hollywood. Staff and visitors dolled up in true Hollywood style and strutted down the red carpet to the main Ballroom.

The Ball attracted a huge number of attendees; over 80 people filled the Hall both from the community and residential facilities and an extremely fun day was had by all with singing, dancing, and award ceremonies (complete with Paparazzi) being the order of the day followed by a scrumptious feast.

Guests of the Ball included the Anglican Church Dance Group who entertained us with their stylish dance moves.

John Vendy and Nina Cannata were chosen as Beau & Belle of the Ball, both receiving a beautiful sash and an Oscar as they went to considerable efforts with their attire.

Well done to staff & volunteers who help organise such a special event for visitors to the Day Centre.  It was truly a lovely day of glitz and glammer and fun and laughter and we look forward to the Day Centre’s next Ball in 2017!
