Freemasons’ bursary presented

Freemasons Victoria awarded Kirsten O’Connor the 2017 bursary at the East Grampians Health Service annual general meeting.

Ms O’Connor will undertake a Bachelor of Nursing.

Each year Freemasons Victoria awards a bursary to ensure the long term viability of services at EGHS.

The bursary is designed to assist staff members with further education and training and supports EGHS’s strategy of helping staff to develop their skills.

Ms O’Connor thanked Freemasons Victoria for the award.
“I feel very privileged to receive the bursary and it will help with my studies,” she said.

We acknowledge that their holistic approach to health; harmony between body, mind, spirit and environment, has been practiced on these lands for thousands of years. We thank past and present Elders for this knowledge to help improve health and wellbeing for all Australians.
