The Willaura Market is set to draw a large crowd at this year’s annual market to be held in the Willaura Hospital grounds on 4th March commencing at 10am. The Willaura market will be introducing exciting new stalls, entertainment and food stalls. This event is set to capture the true essence what real a country market is all about.
Willaura Market Coordinator, Mrs. Jane Millear said “the market is just getting bigger and better every year and we are so happy with how the market has grown over the years. We have some new and exciting stall holders this year, activities for the children and some great musical entertainment for everyone to sit back and relax to.”
Mrs Millear highlighted that the market will offer gourmet lunch options, family barbecue, multicultural foods, ice-creams, fresh doughnuts, cool drinks, great coffee and cakes.
The market will have a real carnival atmosphere with a children’s circus performance and workshop. Some of the stalls will include honey products, olive oils, lavender products, wool products, artworks, candle makers, jewellery makers, professional massage, clothing and sleepwear, craft stalls, fresh produce and plants, farm animals, raffle prizes, local growers wine tasting and much more.
East Grampians Community Liaison Officer Danny Drake said “So come along and enjoy a great day out in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in a real country setting in the grounds of the Willaura Health Service in Willaura. The market runs from 10.00am and concludes 2.00pm, see you there!”
