Enjoy at day out at this year’s Willaura Market

The Willaura Market is set to draw another large crowd at this year’s annual market, which is held on Sunday 3rd March at the Willaura Health Service grounds. This year’s market has a wide selection of market stalls, entertainment and scrumptious food stalls.

Willaura Market Coordinator, Mrs. Jane Millear said “the market seems to go from strength to strength and just gets bigger and better every year. We seem to have a remarkable response from the community with more and more stalls coming on board every year.”

Mrs Millear highlighted that the market has become much more than a market with all the entertainment such as the children’s circus which had the audience captivated last year and also local identity performers Ruth & Ziggy from the band S.O.F.T who provide a good range of music that suits most tastes. The market is great day out for families and has something on offer for everyone to enjoy.

Mrs Millear said that this year’s market will offer gourmet lunch options, family barbecue, multicultural foods, freshly made ice-creams, great coffee and cakes. Some of the stalls will include honey products, olive oils, lavender products, wool products, artworks, candle makers, jewellery makers, professional massage, clothing and sleepwear, craft stalls, fresh produce and plants, raffle prizes and much more.

East Grampians Community Liaison Officer Danny Drake said “come along and enjoy a great day out in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the grounds of the Willaura Health Service. The market runs from 10.00am and concludes 2.00pm, see you there!”
