It was another great success for the 13th annual 3 Person Ambrose, East Grampians Health Service Charity Golf Day held at the Chalambar Golf Course, Ararat on Sunday 19th October.
Many who attended have supported this event over the past thirteen years, the players not only put in a fine effort on the course, but also put their hand in their pockets to support this annual event for the East Grampians Health Service to raise $3,586.00.
All monies raised will go towards the purchase of a Vital Signs Monitor for the use in the Inpatient Unit at East Grampians Health Service.
At the presentations EGHS Board Community Liaison Officer Mr Danny Drake acknowledged the great support of the Chalambar Golf Club, their members and staff. Mr Drake thanked the fantastic sponsorship for this year’s event including Kings Cars Ararat, Melbourne Parkview Hotel, Ace Radio, David O Jones Mitre 10 Ararat, Advantage Pharmacy Ararat, AME Systems, Landmark Harcourts Ararat, Jerrams Auto Parts & Electronics, Fosters Mensland, and Harvey Norman Ararat.
The Kings Cars hole in one did not go off this year, hopefully a golfer will win a new car next year. The winners of the Melbourne Parkview Hotel prizes on the day for the 3 Person Ambrose were won by David Jennings, Matt Summers & Sam Cronin. Ladies Winners were Kaye Powell, Lyn Faneco & Nola Mahoney.
The 3WM MIXXFM & The Weekly Advertiser Corporate Challenge was won by Billy Cairns, Craig Lennie and Lloyd Grice representing 75BC. Their prize was a $500 advertising package from ACE Radio.
