EGHS Charity Golf Day

Get a hole in one on the 18th hole and win a car – Kings Cars of Ararat are pleased to be the major sponsor of the long running East Grampians Health Service Charity Golf Day to be held Sunday, 18th October at Chalambar Golf Club, Ararat.

Dealer Principal of Kings Cars of Ararat, Mr. Michael Smith said “Our team is proud to be involved in the East Grampians Health Service Charity Golf Day and thrilled with the opportunity to support our local Health Service.

Mr Smith said “We like to support our community whenever possible and this is a great opportunity to support our local Health Service which provides such an essential service to the community. The money raised from this year’s event will go towards a new Vital Signs Monitor for the Inpatient Unit at East Grampians Health Service.”

East Grampians Health Service Chief Executive Mr. Nick Bush said “This year’s charity golf day is going be an exciting event with significant prizes from our very generous local supporters culminating with all competitors having a chance to win a car of their choice to the value of $20,000 at Kings Cars of Ararat. This is a generous donation by Kings Cars and the Health Service is truly appreciative of their support.” This year the golfing committee is hoping to raise funds to purchase a Vital Signs Monitor for the inpatient unit at the Health Service.”

East Grampians Health Service Community Liaison Officer Mr. Danny Drake said”The Health Service Three Person Ambrose Charity Golf Day Kicks off at 11.30am and the $30.00 entry fee includes a BBQ Lunch, afternoon supper and tickets to the spinning wheel. There some great prizes on the day. We look forward to seeing some old and some fresh faces enjoying a great day in support of the local Health Service.”

This year’s registrations are limited to 33 teams, with vacancies expected to fill quickly.

Chalambar Golf Club Manager, Mr. Tim Cronin said “The golf course is in great condition following extensive works and good rain. We are looking forward to a great day and I thank the volunteers who help organize the day.”
