East Grampians Health Service wins the Institute of Public Administration Australia, Leadership in the Public Sector Award for Risk Management.

Announced at the Awards Ceremony in Melbourne on 19 February 2015, East Grampians Health Service was recognised for our work in integrating clinical risk audit with the internal audit framework. We are the first Victorian public health service to apply the principles and practices of the International Standard for internal auditing to reduce exposure, and improve controls and mitigation of clinical risks.

VMIA CEO and IPAA Fellow, Paul O’Connor had the honour of presenting the Award.
