ARARAT RURAL CITY COUNCIL ASSISTANCE
East Grampians Health Service is working in partnership with Ararat Rural City Council to offer care for individuals and families who are affected by the current COVID-19 situation in Ararat.
Any individual or family who needs access to food packages or further logistical support, or is unsure where to turn to, is urged to call 5355 0980 and Ararat Rural City Council staff will assist.
If you require financial assistance, there is help available.
- The $1500 Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment is a one-off payment to help Victorian workers who have been directed to self-isolate or quarantine for 14 days, or care for someone who has been directed to self-isolate or quarantine.
- The Victorian Government is also providing a $450 COVID-19 Test Isolation Payment to support Victorian workers, including parents and guardians, who are required to self-isolate while you wait for the results of your COVID-19 test.
