Charity Dance Club donates to Dialysis Unit

The Ararat Charity Dance Club has donated $1500 toward the Dialysis Unit treatment chair replacement project.

The Charity Dance Club, together with participants in additional dance classes, combined to donate the funds and presented a cheque to EGHS Community Liaison Officer Jodie Holwell at a recent dance at the Senior Citizens’ Clubrooms.

Club member Jean McCready said the Club regularly donates funds to local charities and when they heard the Dialysis Unit was looking to replace the six treatment chairs, they were pleased to contribute to the project.

At the presentation, Jodie Holwell thanked members of the group for their generosity.

“The health service appreciates the support of community groups such as yours, which enables us to purchase much needed equipment,” she said.
