Book cushions make life easier

Passing the time during a chemotherapy session has been made more comfortable for patients at the East Grampians Health Service Oncology Department, with the addition of two book cushions.

Ararat’s Zest Living donated the cushions, which support a book or magazine without the need for the patient to hold them.

EGHS chief executive Nick Bush said donations of equipment such as the book cushions make dealing with long sessions of chemotherapy treatment just that little bit easier.

“We thank the staff at Zest Living for their generous donation, which is helping our patients pass the time during their chemotherapy sessions,” Mr Bush said.
