Bayer Animal Health has launched a community support program to support a fund raising initiative for the East Grampians Health Service “Building for the Future Foundation”.
Mr. David Hosking, Chairperson of the EGHS “Building For The Future Foundation” said the foundation is a charitable Trust established in 2010 with the special purpose of providing funding for special purpose projects and equipment for East Grampians Health Service.”
Mr Hosking said “The Trust is governed by five independent local trustees who manage the Trusts’s assets and distribution of funding for the sole benefit of the Health Service. The Fund allocations take into account the wishes expressed by East Grampians Health Service Board and with the intention of ensuring that the Health Service remains at the forefront in the provision of health care and services in the region.”
The Building for the future foundation is to benefit from Bayer Animal Healths “Community Program”. Selected Bayer products will generate a 5% rebate which will be donated to the Building the Future Foundation. This program started in March and will run to December 2012, with the target figure of $5,000.00.
The outlets who are supporting this program are Elders LTD Ararat, Ararat Veterinary Clinic, Ararat Farm Supplies and Landmark Ararat.
How do farmers add their support?
Farmers will need to authorise their purchases they wish to include in this Fundraiser, no book work, only signing off at their point of purchase to gain support for the Health Service.
Mr Hosking commented that “Whilst the foundation’s primary focus is to support and sponsor bursaries and scholarships. The foundation is a charitable trust and we are more than happy to receive donations such as this. This Initiative by Bayer to help re-distribute funds back into our community is well received, to which we thank them.”
