We are seeking suitably skilled applicants to work in 70 Lowe Street as a Ward Clerk to perform duties of a clerical nature to assist in the efficient functioning of the facility.

70 Lowe Street is a 45 bed residential aged care facility. Our aged care services focus on the individual, their family, friends and community, Individualised care is assured by identifying the Residents personal preferences and interest in all areas across the social and clinical spectrum. We have adopted the Montessori environment approach to provide purpose and stimulation through everyday activities.  This approach supports our residents to live their lives to the fullest and make the most of the services we have to offer.

What We Offer

About The Role

Duties involved in this position are general administrative tasks including but not exclusive to:

  • Reception duties to internal and external customers/residents
  • Acknowledge visitors upon their arrival into the department ensuring they comply with sign in and infection control guidelines
  • Assisting with the administration of staff rosters
  • Arrange staff meetings and record minutes, and circulation of all minutes in a timely manner to all staff
  • Assist with reporting of audits and continuous improvements
  • Scanning of documents into Clinical Manager
  • Liaise with Medical Records personnel as required

About You

  • Applicants will need to have a mature attitude, flexible approach, eye for detail, excellent IT skills and customer focus.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology in an administration or clinical position is an advantage.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work shifts in a 7 day a week roster is a key part of this role which includes weekends.

Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
