An exciting opportunity exists for a Sonographer to join our Radiology team at either full-time or part-time capacity.

The Radiology department is located at the main site in Ararat. It supports EGHS clinical services by offering services in Ultrasound, CT, General Radiology inclusive of dental imaging, Bone Density imaging and theatre Imaging for both acute patients and the community. In practice, you will work in a team of both Radiographers and Sonographers whilst having support from our excellent administration staff.

About The Role
- The Radiology team provides an Ultrasound service from Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
- As member of this skilled and professional team you will be encouraged and supported to participate in continuous professional development programs to further consolidate your skills
- The service uses Comrad and InteleViewer software
- Produce high quality diagnostic images that are reasonably achievable given the patient condition and in accordance with the ALARA principles
- Demonstrate extensive or special knowledge, experience and competence in the field of sonography
About You
- Completion of an Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry accredited post graduate degree in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent)
- Registered with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) – or ability to obtain
- Initiative in workload management and ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated high level experience and skills in ultrasound imaging
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
