Registered Nurse – Willaura Health Care

We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with an interest in aged care and acute patient care to work at Willaura Health Care which is part of East Grampians Health Service. This is a part time position, 16 hours per week.

Willaura Health Care and Parkland House Hostel are part of East Grampians Health Service located 37 kms south of Ararat. The Health Service consists of 8 Acute and 2 nursing home beds. Parkland House Hostel consists of 10 Hostel bed. Willaura meets the stringent health standards and is fully accredited by the Australian Council of Health Care Standards and Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency. Willaura is well supported by community health allied health services and district nursing based in Ararat.

About You

Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration
Applicants must be able to demonstrate clinical experience relevant to the role, well developed assessment communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to high standard contemporary residential care.
The ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team is also required.
Shifts will include both day and night on a rotating roster.
Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation and ANACC funding would be an advantage.

Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
