We are seeking suitably skilled applicants for the role of Medical Imaging Office Coordinator to assist in the efficient functioning of the Medical Imaging Department. This is a part time limited tenure position, 24 hours per week from September 2026 to September 2027.

The Medical Imaging Department is located at the Ararat campus of East Grampians Health Service. It supports EGHS clinical services by offering imaging to inpatients and outpatients. Our department provide: x-ray, CT, ultrasound, bone density scans and OPG services.

About The Role

  • Roster Management for the Medical Imaging Department
  • Review Medical Imaging KPI’s to ensure the department meets its financial commitments including identifying and collecting patient payment fees and issuing receipts
  • Undertake responsibility and accountability for projects as delegated by Director of Clinical Services
  • Manage diary scheduling and appointments
  • Maintain positive working relationship and external agencies
  • Prepare agendas, minutes and reports and ensure circulation to relevant members
  • Ensure documentation meets legal, professional and organisational standards
  • Provide relief and support to receptionists in department

About You

  • Previous experience in Customer service, preferably within a health services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver timely and accurate communication to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate initiative whilst displaying an enthusiastic, client focused, can do and flexible approach
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality and continuous improvement and comply with EGHS policies and procedures
  • Able to demonstrate good positive communication skills with patients, families, medical staff and co-workers
  • Experienced in the use of office machines including health phone systems, photocopiers, fax machines and scanners 
  • Handling of cash, EFTOPOS and other payment systems
  • Familiar with raising sundry debtors and cash receipting/cashier tasks

Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
