We are seeking suitably skilled applicants for a Cook-Chef to work primarily at our onsite Café attached to Pyrenees House to provide healthy food options to our staff, visitors and catering at our quality conference facility.
This is an exciting opportunity to assist in leading our vibrant and modern Café team. We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook / Chef to be involved in the catering of the facility and staff, and promote events and functions.
This permanent part-time position is 24 hours per week.

About The Role
- Food preparation, cooking, barista trained ideal but not essential
- Coffee machine operation
- Serving customers, cash handling and till operation
- Internal/external function work
- To provide and maintain a high-quality standard of cleanliness within Café Pyrenees
- Ensure that all residents, clients, visitors and staff are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy in an environment that is free from harassment and discrimination
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment under the Victorian Health facilities cleaning standards
- Perform all delegated duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Responsible for appropriately documenting activities

- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- An exceptional eye for detail
- Be friendly and have a great manner with staff, patients, visitors and residents
- Respect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Food handling certificate
There will be provision for extra shifts to cover Annual Leave / Sick Leave.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
