Consumer Partner – Development and Improvement – Limited Tenure
East Grampians Health Service (EGHS) is seeking to recruit a Consumer Partner. This position is an exciting opportunity for a community member with lived experience with, or knowledge of, health care to help EGHS deliver safe, effective and person centred care.
This is a Part time position, 8.00 hours per week. Limited tenure to October 2026.

About The Role
The position will focus on increasing opportunities for consumer involvement at EGHS. This includes assisting with recruiting new consumers and supporting them to contribute the consumer view. Developing and reviewing consumer information is an important part of this role.
About You
- lived experience of a health service as either a patient/client or carer is preferred (but not essential
- knowledge of the health care system (but does not have a health related qualification)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook) is required.
This position would suit someone with the confidence to actively engage the local community.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
