Administration & Finance Assistant – EGHS @ Home


We are seeking a part-time highly organised and experienced Administration and Finance Assistant to join our small but vibrant team in a job share role in our EGHS @ Home team, up to 32 hours per week.

East Grampians Health Service (EGHS) Community Services aim to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of services to the community in Ararat and surrounding districts. We offer outpatient, outreach and domiciliary services. Our services include Allied Health, Dental, Community Nursing, Home Care Packages, Home Support Services and Patricia Hinchey Centre.  These services support other clinical areas including our acute and residential aged care consumers.  EGHS@Home includes our Home Support program, Healthy@Home (telehealth program), Home Care Packages and Carers Support program.

What We Offer

About The Role

This role supports all facets of EGHS @ Home with daily administrative duties; assisting with referral and roster administration; end of month reporting against funded targets; and efficient financial administration of Home Support programs.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Customer service
  • Client record administration
  • Administration assistance to the EGHS@Home Manager & Department Coordinators
  • Referral management
  • Reconciliation of individual client financial accounts
  • Data entry

About You

The successful applicant will be an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to manage own workload. A high level of computer literacy is required to efficiently use a number of software systems for patient services and fees management. Experience in a health setting is preferable.

Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police, Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
