Martina grew up in Ararat and returned to the region in 2001 to care for her parents. During this experience she was deeply moved and inspired by the support provided by East Grampians Health Service.
Martina works primarily in disaster recovery, supporting local and state government to navigate complex issues, engage communities and turn strategy into action. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education in International Education Policy from the University of Melbourne.The primary skills Martina brings to the Board are strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, facilitation and governance.
Outside her work facilitating in disaster recovery, Martina is a writer, pianist and devoted guardian to her rambunctious red heeler, Mallee.
