Family Violence

EGHS considers family violence as a violation of human rights. A central element of family violence is an ongoing pattern of behaviour that takes many forms that serves the purpose of establishing power and control through fear.

EGHS is committed to providing a workplace environment that supports any staff member experiencing family violence. EGHS takes additional steps to ensure that the workplace is a safe environment and provides the staff member affected with the time and capacity to respond to their safety and wellbeing needs.
