Ararat Gallery TAMA advises on care of Lowe Street quilt

The beautiful handmade quilt, made for 70 Lowe Street residents by Willaura and District Quilters, was professionally photographed by the Ararat Gallery, TAMA.

This was part of the Gallery’s digitisation project where it invited the community to bring in their own pieces to be photographed and receive advice on how to care for the piece.

70 Lowe St volunteer, Michelle Swanwick, took the quilt to TAMA to be photographed in both high and low resolution and to be educated about storing and hanging the piece.

The quilt has pride of place in a communal area at 70 Lowe St for all residents and guests to enjoy.
