Board tour Community Health Centre and Healthy@Home building

East Grampians Health Service Board members have toured the redevelopment works currently taking place at the health service.

Manager of Community Nursing Jane Bourman led the tour and showed Board members and guests, including Ballarat Health Service Board members, through the new areas at the Healthy@ Home Building and also the works that are taking place throughout the Community Health Centre.

“Many questions were asked by Board members regarding the redevelopment at the Community Health Centre and what is being carried out and all showed a great interest in the works taking place and what it will mean to our staff when the works are completed,” Ms Bourman said.

“They were also very impressed by our new Healthy@Home Building, which is now home to Community Nursing and Palliative Care, HARP, the Healthy@Home program, the Breast Care Nurse, Social Work, Home Care Packages and Post-Acute Care.”
