Resident donates rocker boards to physio department

Physiotherapy clients at East Grampians Health Service now have the use of seven new rocker boards, thanks to a generous donation by an Ararat resident.

Marcia McConnell donated seven rocker boards to the physiotherapy department, which will be used to assist clients with balance issues and core work.

EGHS exercise physiologist Zosha Jarecki-Warke said the influx of seven more rocker boards will mean that they will be able to be used in a variety of areas across the health service, including at Willaura Healthcare, and more clients will be able to take advantage of them.

“On behalf of the physiotherapy department, I would like to thank Marcia for her generous donation, the rocker boards will benefit many of our clients in the future,” Zosha Jarecki-Warke said.
