New Shade Sail for Garden View Court

Many thanks to our wonderful Aged Care Auxiliary for their funding of a new shade sail at our residential facility: Garden View Court.

Currently the residents are choosing plants to refurbish the gardens of the courtyard, choosing varieties that they find pleasing and will brighten up the Courtyard during the flowering season. Gardening and being outdoors is an important part of resident wellbeing at Garden View Court, residents have previously avoided the beautiful courtyard setting in the warmer weather as it became too hot, but the installation of the shade sail will allow them to utilise this lovely space and encourage them outside more often.
