Cathcart Tennis Club Donation

East Grampians Health Service are pleased to receive a generous donation provided by the Cathcart Tennis Club.

John Billett, President of the Cathcart Tennis Club, has announced that it will contribute $5,000.00 for the purchase of a Vein Finder for use within the East Grampians Health Service Oncology department.

This donation has been made possible through funds raised at the Cathcart Fair, a substantial local fund raiser, held in the mid-1980s. The Cathcart Tennis Club has since wound up and with funds remaining at the Club have distributed them within the community.

East Grampians Health Service gratefully welcome this donation and look forward to the forthcoming benefits to the wider community through the acquisition of the Vein Finder.

Mr Billet said β€œHe was disappointed that the once vibrant Cathcart Tennis Club had folded but is very pleased to have funds to contribute such as to East Grampians Health Service Oncology Department.”

East Grampians Health Service Chief Executive Mr Nick Bush thanked Mr Billet for the donation on Behalf of EGHS and said β€œthe Health Service would purchase a Vein Finder to assist in the care of patients in Oncology.”
