GVCH Fundraising

Local girl Elizabeth Brown has raised $1,747.25 as part of this year’s Golden Gate festival celebrations, which will go to the Garden View Court Hostel, part of East Grampians Health Service.

EGHS Garden View Court Hostel Manager Amanda Hastings said she was “so delighted that Elizabeth is fundraising for Garden View Court Hostel, it is perfect timing as it will coincide with a whole lot of renovations that will take part in early October to enhance the facility. It is just outstanding that there is such community minded young people in Ararat.”

Elizabeth said “I have been overwhelmed by the support of local businesses and I was given so many prizes to raffle. I visited the East Grampians Health Service and staff and residents of Garden View Court Hostel, they were all so kind and supportive for me to raise money for them.”
