New Chairs for Garden View Court Hostel

The East Grampians Health Service Auxiliary was able to donate ten new comfortable leisure chairs for the residents of Garden View Court. This was able to occur due to the successful fundraising efforts from last year’s ‘Women, Wisdom and Wellbeing Dinner’.

EGHS Auxiliary President, Mrs. Margie Kilpatrick, said that “The Auxiliary work so hard during the year with their fundraising activities and it so rewarding for the ladies when we see the joy that comes from recipients such as the residents of Garden View Court Hostel. I would also like to thank all the ladies from across the region that come along to our events and support our fundraising events during the year.”

EGHS Garden View Court Manager Mrs. Amanda Hastings said “we are so thankful of the support from the EGHS Auxiliary and the residents are so happy with their new chairs, we are truly very lucky to have such community minded volunteers in our area.”

EGHS Auxiliary is in full swing preparations for this year’s ‘Women, Wisdom and Wellbeing Dinner’ on Friday 27th July at the Performing Arts Centre. The dinner attracts close to 300 women from across the region and is always a sellout event.
