Registered Nurse – Oncology
An opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Team at East Grampians Health Service. This is a part-time position, 8 hours per week.

East Grampians Health Service oncology unit consists of 8 chairs and one bed offering a range of oncology and haematology services located at the main Ararat campus with a visiting oncologist and a visiting haematologist. Developing health service partnerships, EGHS aims to service the health care needs of patients within the community as well as neighbouring towns. The oncology unit offers excellence in the provision of same day oncology care.

About the Role
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, committed to providing a high standard of patient care and will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing quality client-focused care ensuring a holistic approach to the patient, and their carers. The East Grampians Health Service Oncology department works in collaboration with Ballarat Cancer Care and has a visiting Oncologist and Haematologist. The oncology department operates one day per week to provide care to members of our local community.
About You
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with recent Oncology experience and post-basic qualifications in Oncology or a willingness to undertake post-graduate studies within 12 months of commencement.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks)
