Murray to Moyne Jazzy Fundraiser

Local band Orange Whip will be performing at a fundraising event on Saturday 20th February at the newly renovated Alexandra Recreation Centre at the Alexandra Oval in Ararat.

Orange Whip a band of highly skilled local musicians are putting on a fundraising event to support the two local Murray to Moyne Bike riding groups to help them with their fundraising efforts. Orange Whip will be belting out a wide array of music styles including Blues, Rock and Soul on the night.

Orange Whip trumpet player Matt Haddow said “the band is looking forward to playing again, following the success from their debut performance at the Ararat Cup.”

One of the bike riding captains Mr Gary Brumby said “we are delighted to have Orange Whip dedicating their performance time to the Murray to Moyne bike riding fundraising. Orange Whip is a sensational band that you will not want to miss”, he said

Drinks will be available at bar prices and the night starts at 8.00pm. On February 20th, all monies raised on the night will go to the Murray to Moyne bike riding teams who are raising money for a new anesthetic monitor for theatre at the East Grampians Health Service.
