Don Cole

Don Cole

Don Cole is new to Ararat, having started in 2012 as the Director of Assets, Finances and Corporate Services for the Ararat Rural City Council.

Prior to joining the Ararat Rural City Council, Don worked as a self employed business consultant providing project management and business improvement services to a wide variety of businesses, including private and Government organisations.  Don’s management and strategic skills are underpinned by a Bachelor of Engineering (B-Eng) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

Don is married to Jennifer, a registered nurse, and they have 4 children (young adults).  In Don’s words, “Ararat has everything going for it; great people, adequate infrastructure, brilliant location and awesome natural environments – and none of these wonderful gifts should ever be squandered.”
