Bill Braithwaite

Bill Braithwaite

Bill has been a resident in the district since 2000 and after 36 years of working experience in public administration, including 7 years as Chief Executive Officer of the Ararat Rural City, he is now developing his Olive Plantation at Armstrong.

Bill was a founding member of the Ararat Branch of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation that raised funds for the John McNally Urgent Care Centre and the Helicopter Landing Pad.

Bill is keen to contribute to the community and believes that his years of experience in public sector administration will be of value as a Board member of East Grampians Health Service.

Bill believes that the Australian Health Services landscape is under unprecedented pressure to meet ever increasing community needs within an ever tightening funding environment.  East Grampians Health Service has done an excellent job in achieving a very high level of community satisfaction and performance when measured against its peer groups.

Bill looks forward to contributing to the continued delivery of service excellence by East Grampians Health Service to the community.
